Governor Steve Bullock today announced that Academy Award winning actor Jeff Bridges and Share Our Strength have each made an additional contribution of $20,000 to the Montana No Kid Hungry campaign. The funds will be used to bolster Bullock’s efforts to expand school breakfast options in the state, as well as support other efforts to combat childhood hunger in the state.

Governor Steve Bullock today was joined by Sen. Ed Buttrey as he signed the Montana Health and Livelihood Economic Partnership (HELP) Act into law at a packed ceremony in the Capitol Rotunda. The measure brings Montana federal tax dollars back to the state to expand health coverage to residents that fall into the Medicaid coverage gap.
