Rentals Still Needed for Legislator Housing

Houses and Full Apartments for short term leases in high demand

Monday, November 7, 2016/Categories: Legislative Branch/Tags: housing , 2017 Legislature

The Legislative Session floods Helena with temporary residents, including legislators and their families. Lawmakers are still looking for places to call home.  The Legislative Housing Database is especially short of properties that can accommodate members who bring spouses and families to Helena.

Legislators are interested in properties anywhere within the Helena area. Suitable rentals include rooms, houses, apartments, condominiums, mobile homes, motels, and bed and breakfast inns.

The Legislative Services Division compiles housing information and provides a rental database to lawmakers who request it, but does not directly conduct transactions between legislators and property owners.

If you have a property to include in the housing database, please complete the form available on the Legislative Branch website at:  http://leg.mt.gov/css/sessions/65th/default.asp. Property owners may submit the form online, drop the form off at LSD at the State Capitol, 1st floor east end reception area, or mail it to Courtney Cannon, Legislative Services Division, PO Box 201706, Helena, MT 59620-1706.

If you have questions or would like more information, contact Courtney Cannon, Legislative Services Division, at 406-444-3064 or courtneycannon@mt.gov
