HELENA – The Montana Department of Environmental Quality has issued a deficiency letter to The Crevice Mining Group in response to the company’s exploration proposal on private land in Park County, Mont.
In the letter, DEQ identified several issues that will require the submittal of additional information before an environmental analysis of the exploration proposal can be conducted.
The agency is requesting additional information on likely surface disturbances, geochemical analysis of excavated material, baseline hydrologic and water quality data and details of water management and treatment plans.
No further action will be taken on the proposal until the company responds to the listed deficiencies.
